Guilty !!!

Miranda and Amina say: The chicken was hard and looked gooey. The rice was hard and cold as well. As you can see in the picture that five minutes into lunch everyone threw their trays away. We dont eat school lunch because we find it disgusting and unhealthy. So we say that todays lunch is GUILTY !!!

The chicken really looked bad, that made me lose my appetite. Blech! The fried banana’s looked cold and mushy and made my stomach grumble with fear because it didn’t want that to be digested in the stomach. I didn’t eat again as you expected because it was horrible!!!! Absolutely, positively, infinitevly H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E!

I ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I think the chicken is absolutely disgusting. I tried the plantains. it wasn’t so bad. It was okay. I don’t think the lunch would ever be promising……*sigh*

Has anyone noticed that most of the lunches so far have had the exact same blah color scheme? Tan and tan with a side of tan. Every now and then there’s something orange. Or grey/green. Meals that are colorful usually seem to be better balanced in both flavor and nutritional value (unless you’re eating a dinner of Skittles). Our lunches need some crunchy green lettuce and broccoli, an ear of bright yellow corn on the cob, some nice red strawberries or deep blue blueberries!
